If Hay List is (as I believe) as good as the recent successful travelling Australian sprinters, Scenic Blast & Starspangledbanner, then just how good is Black Caviar after she easily defeated him at Flemington yesterday?
Before the running of the Lightning Stakes I looked at the history of the race which has sometimes thrown up a surprise.
And after the race I look at the ramifications of such an effortless win by Black Caviar.
