Totalizators around Australia have over time expanded their reach into fixed-odds betting on horseracing, competing with their bookmaker opposition, as well as offering sports betting options on a gamut of sports and special events.

PMU (Pari Mutuel Urbain) is the French state-controlled totalizator that controls the pari-mutuel betting on horseracing in France. PMU is Europe’s largest betting organisation and has over 10,000 retail outlets spread throughout France. Recently enforced EU antimonopoly requirements have opened the doors to competition from outside operators who offer fixed odds and allow betting on other sports. PMU have embraced the new era with an entertaining series of television advertisements that are being shown in France.
They are very clever. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did (you don't need to understand French to enjoy the comic wit).
