When further examining his photographs from Sha Tin, Neil Murray was intrigued by the variations in riding styles of several jockeys. In Thoroughbreds Worldwide the article 'A Balanced View' looks at the different riding styles of three French jockeys riding in Hong Kong.
The jockey in this photo is Maxime Guyon. Other jockeys examined are Olivier Doleuze, and Gerald Mosse.

Also covered is the Group One Stewards’ Cup, the first leg of the Hong Kong Triple Crown. Held over 1600 metres at Sha Tin, it is followed by the Hong Kong Gold Cup (2000 metres); and finally the Hong Kong Champions & Chater Cup (2400 metres).
