Seasons Star, a 3 year old bay gelding by Not A Single Doubt - out of Annie's River - remains undefeated in Hong Kong after winning the Detroit Handicap (1000 metres) at Happy Valley on the 7th of November. This follows his debut victory at Sha Tin over the same distance.
Trained by Tony Cruz, Seasons Star was ridden by Matthew Chadwick on debut - while Douglas Whyte replaced him for his most recent win (below).

Seasons Star is closely related to G2 winner in South Africa, Sharks Bay.
The doomsayers have been out for Douglas Whyte and his chance of success this year in winning yet another Jockey's Premiership in Hong Kong. Whyte's win on Seasons Star broke a drought of 17 losing rides. Since winning on Seasons Star, Whyte has ridden 3 more winners, and is now a clear 2nd on the table (16 wins) behind Premiership leader, Zac Purton (20 wins)
