In The Frame

Don't ever buy a camera. If you have a camera, don't ever bring it to a horse race.
I have no idea what goes on during a race. I mean, yeah, I'm new at this and I'm confused by all the jargon and the betting and the colors and the names and the, well, everything. So I stand there by the racetrack, camera in hand, and then suddenly they're on me and I'm shooting frantically, panning and zooming and trying to keep the leader in the viewfinder. Or what I think is the leader. Later, I look at the pix later and think, hey, where did he come from? How did he end up in the Winner's Circle? And so I resolve to be smarter and track the next race better. . .and it happens all over again.
So begins another episode from the tales of Frank as our racetrack rookie throws himself into the deep end of thoroughbred racing. The complete article can be found on Thoroughbreds Worldwide.
